suspected robber apprehended

Police have arrested a suspected robber, Ratome Webster, 17, and are charging him with robbery and malicious wounding after an incident along St. John Street last Tuesday morning. [via]

next Downtown Master Plan meeting set

The community is invited to attend a workshop to continue the discussion on the future of downtown. The Downtown Master Plan project team will share details on design concepts, commercial and residential markets,the riverfront, and the transportation network. Come out to discuss these issues and share your thoughts. The meeting will be Sept.27 from 6:30-9:00PM @ the Renaissance Conference Center (107 W.Broad Street).
