Oral histories of Carver now available
Back in 2000, a handful of Carver residents were interviewed to provide an oral history of the area. Those recordings are now available as MP3’s (along with PDF transcripts) via the VCU Libraries Digital Collection. Read more >

Roof of RRHA building collapsing *UPDATED*
Reports are saying that the roof of an RRHA building at the 1100 block of North 1st street in caving in. Although the building is residential, there are no injuries at this time. 1st street is closed.

The RRHA building in Gilpin Court whose roof caved in yesterday, has been condemned.
